Hi, we're the Amezcua family.

Five years ago, we left California and moved to Missouri in search of one thing: land. We saw how fast the world was changing — war, AI, inflation — and we felt it deep down: it was time to own our own resources, grow our own food, and get back to God's creation.

Today we live on five acres in Missouri. We have goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits — and a dairy cow on the way. We've built a little family compound here — our two tiny cabins and our parents' house — and it's changed our family's lives.

But our dream was never just five acres.

The first village will be in Missouri.

We're searching for the property now — 150 acres or more, in a county where we're free to build homes, barns, and a chapel without asking permission.

And we're looking for families who want to live there with us. Families who want to own their land, raise their animals, and build a Catholic village — not just move to the country, but move to the country together. A village centered around the sacraments and a deeply agrarian life. A place where our kids can grow up together, around families who believe what we believe.

Here's why together matters. On your own, your budget buys a small parcel on a back road somewhere. Together, that same money reaches a bigger, more beautiful property in a better place — and every family owns their own deeded parcel. Your land. Your home. Your animals.

So this list is step one: gathering those families. When we secure the property and open the first parcels, the families on this list will be first — and the founding families will come from it.

If that's you, put your family's name down. It's free.
